Thanks for stopping by my blog. I am currently caring for my sick mother and so, while I have uploaded some past works my new work will likely be slow in coming.
While life is not exactly the way I planned it right now, I wouldn't choose to be anywhere else.
I have created this blog to remind me, in the meantime, of who I am and what it is that I 'do'.
I hope you enjoy my 'stuff' as much as I enjoy yours.
Dear Lynette, thanks so much for visiting my blog, just wanted to say hello and see what you were up to these days. I'm so sorry that you mom is ill, but I likethe way you put your situation in words, saying that you would not like to be elsewhere! I send you lots of energy and love, take care Andrea
Thanks for sharing with us and thanks too for caring for your Mum. My last lover had a years long commitment to her great aunt, and her former husband's dad and mom before that. I understand women who willingly care for the older folk. And love them.
I really love this and the organic shape is one which has always felt tight to me. You have been able to achieve a great whispy-ness to the tiny strands which make up this "feather"...but to me the color pods are like eggs, too! I like the details and the feelings this evokes.
hello peacock friend - somehow your pic rolled off my blog - hope it's just something technical - I do like to keep in touch with you - if after a few days, its still the same, I'll write you again to renew your follow me feature - have a great week (hope some time set aside for yourself!!) cheers, jeannette
amazing beautiful work - this is what I love about blogging- to be able to see other people's incredible art like I've visited the museum or had a good book
Scrumptious colors! The center of the peacock makes me think of opals. Terrific movement in the overall composition, and yes,,,,,light and airy fits too!
Beautiful feather image...the transformation into a symbol of sensitivity and delicacy...it's incredible! I hope all is peaceful with your mom. Thanks for coming over and reading Oasis.<3
Michelle...I stopped by after leaving a little "poetism" on Every Photo with your artwork "Into the Night". You're too young to remember Woodstock, but that's what it reminded me of. Your work is beautiful and fascinating. I hope the best for your mother and also that y'all can get the fires out. Stop by and visit me.

Colour!
I love colour.
I love to play with colour and try not to take myself too seriously.
I work with matt acrylics, watercolour, gauche, inks and whatever else takes my fancy. I use artist quality paints and pigments and Arches 300 gsm paper usually. Sometimes I will stretch my paper directly onto a canvas or onto a frame as I work really wet to begin with and I've yet to find a gummed tape that stands up to it.
A bit eclectic really.
This blog has been created to showcase my artwork.
Feel free to contact me via the email link if you are interested in anything.
