A little information...
Thanks for stopping by my blog. I am currently caring for my sick mother and so, while I have uploaded some past works my new work will likely be slow in coming.
While life is not exactly the way I planned it right now, I wouldn't choose to be anywhere else.
I have created this blog to remind me, in the meantime, of who I am and what it is that I 'do'.
I hope you enjoy my 'stuff' as much as I enjoy yours.
Have a lovely day!

honey, do you want me to take photos of my two ? You can load them on here too ?
Michelle, you take your time and do the right thing with your mother. You are absolutely right never, ever think the blog is the important part of the journey.
I seriously hope all will be well and know you have friends here in blog land pulling for you with all their might.
Take care of yourself, too!
Here is a HUG!
PS I also meant to say Grandmother Mountain is probably a great image for you to hold close right now...she looks very strong!
Dear Michele, I have so enjoyed looking at all your paintings! Your imagery is beautiful. You say you stetch paper onto your canvas - how do you paste it on to the canvas?
Sorry to hear your Mum is not well, it will be difficult for you to paint at the moment - you will never loose what you have here, you will take off, just as if you had never stopped.
Take care
Love Dianne x
Hi Dianne
Thank you.
I use a binder medium (matte) to mount the wet paper onto the canvas.
michelle, your work is gorgeous and I adore your use of color, the oranges and reds and gold!! I was curious how big they are, if you don't mind my asking? I absolutely fell in love with it all and you have inspired me to dig out my acrylics again and do a little mixed media....also, thank you for your kind words on my blog...I have a feeling we may have met on OWL perhaps, I was wandering about yesterday from there but I somehow missed this and YOU! I'll be back for more and I am sorry to hear about your dear mother...it's quite wonderful you can care for her the way you do.
Hi Linda
Im not sure what OWL is???
Thank you for your kind words and as for size, they vary, I will get around to putting that up there...not tiny tho...ranging from
one 12" x 18" up to 36" x 48" .... I think...usually somewhere in between.
Your work has got me 'itchy' too :0)
Michelle
oooops...you mean Oasis? Yes, may well have been there xx
Michelle, I am so sorry to hear about your Mother, hugs to you...I love 'Grandmother Mountain' it's a powerful work and so expressively wonderful!

Thank you for kind words and an ego stroke :0)
