A little information...

Thanks for stopping by my blog. I am currently caring for my sick mother and so, while I have uploaded some past works my new work will likely be slow in coming.

While life is not exactly the way I planned it right now, I wouldn't choose to be anywhere else.

I have created this blog to remind me, in the meantime, of who I am and what it is that I 'do'.

I hope you enjoy my 'stuff' as much as I enjoy yours.

Have a lovely day!

Hi Michelle - you're up till late?(how many hours are you ahead? - I'll look at the world-time clock at my blog...)
I like this one, because it looks like silk fabric with gold embroidery on it - I love silk!
cheers - keep up the good work!!!

Thanks Jeanette....lots of people have asked if they are done on silk, been thinking of trying it one day.

Its only morning here:0)

The colors and shapes in this piece are wonderful, and the swirl is supposed to symbolize the creation of life, which, of course, represents femininity!

Michelle, I am becoming very addicted here. These colors are so appealing to me. I am also enjoying the organic expression which I know appears with so much ease, and I know it tremendous effort.

Do most of your pieces have a particular size? I get the feeling they are large.

Truly beautiful.

This one is small Kim...7" x 11" about...must measure them again...some of them are large, most of them in between.

Thank you.

Hi Michelle, I've been trying to leave a comment here & Blogger wouldn't 'let me in' yesterday.

I adore mixed media work,,,I'm especially drawn to Fairy Wings
and Mother and Child. Probably due to the colors only, as the warm tones really speak to me. All of your pieces hold such interest!

Michelle, what lovely work...the images here are both delicate and powerful. Thanks for coming over to Oasis today and writing such a reflective comment. I hope your mother feels comfortable...and that you are as well.<3

I came to your blogs by way of Oasis Writing Link. I find your work open to so much interpretation. I like that. I tried to put into words what I saw before I read your titles. I saw a bullet hole in glass, and fairy wings after...I saw maori tats and then cave painting and then wisps of hair.

Your work is inspiring!
