A little information...

Thanks for stopping by my blog. I am currently caring for my sick mother and so, while I have uploaded some past works my new work will likely be slow in coming.

While life is not exactly the way I planned it right now, I wouldn't choose to be anywhere else.

I have created this blog to remind me, in the meantime, of who I am and what it is that I 'do'.

I hope you enjoy my 'stuff' as much as I enjoy yours.

Have a lovely day!

Mmmm..Michelle, this might be one of my favorites so far. It reminds me very much of Canadian West Coast Aboriginal art. I am quite infatuated with anything "Haida."
Love audrey

Through the Veil...have you heard the music piece by Diane Arkenstone by that name? You will love it. I hopped on your follower wagon for one reason...I'm getting addicted to your artwork.

Babs, the mix is watercolour, acrylic ink and guache.

Thanks James, no I haven't heard it but I will hunt it down now.

Thanks everyone.

This art is so full of inspiration, I feel like a beautiful life is just emerging, the beginning of indian culture,
fantastic!
Thank you for your message. Yeah, I have made the choice now to be stronger, hopefully come across as being more assertive but still polite. Hope it works?
Are the doctors good with you and your mum?

i would love to know how you create these lovely pieces...I read your note on the sidebar but you stretch your paper onto canvas? you must staple it? I was wondering if you could use an acrylic medium to "glue" it on? anyway, I love this one, it's wonderfully intense and interesting in it's design...but they are all beautiful.

Linda, I use an acrylic binder medium to stretch the wet paper onto the canvas, sometimes I mount the paper onto a frame instead of a canvas.
