conte crayon on paper :)
A little information...
Thanks for stopping by my blog. I am currently caring for my sick mother and so, while I have uploaded some past works my new work will likely be slow in coming.
While life is not exactly the way I planned it right now, I wouldn't choose to be anywhere else.
I have created this blog to remind me, in the meantime, of who I am and what it is that I 'do'.
I hope you enjoy my 'stuff' as much as I enjoy yours.
Have a lovely day!

Charcoal on paper
This was a quick 20 minute sketching exercise that never really got finished
I kept it because I liked parts of it and because the ladies
just had such giant breasts! You never know when you will need to
reference a giant breast or two
or four
Don't actually know why I'm posting it :)
Lack of other material I guess.....sigh
am painting as fast as I can

This was a 'copy' of one of Susan Seddon Boulet's artworks.
I absolutely love that woman's art!
I used water colour washes, chalk and oil pastel and acrylic here, she uses oil pastels I believe.
Anyway, I did it for mum, because she loved the painting too and it was a fun experiment.
But a COPY okay :)
Not my original work.
I think I've made that clear enough now, given all the copyright stuff going on lately!

These two were heavily influenced by some works I found in a really old chinese watercolour book. I don't know what happened to the book, I think I loaned it to someone who never returned it, most annoying.
So, unfortunately I can't tell you the name of the book or the artist.
These are watercolour and chalk pastel on paper
and they hang in mum's house, not to be sold.
